Festive Polymer fun!

I am beyond excited to be listing another of these fabby workshops! In fact, I’m not just listing it, I’m booking myself a place with you guys for a play! Only this time, we’re getting festive guys!!!

In this workshop, you will learn how to transfer images on to polymer clay using acetone to create Christmas decorations. These decorations could be made into a festive garland or hanging decorations. We will have a variety of festive stock images for you to use in the workshop. However, if you wanted to create something specific, you are more than welcome to bring your own images; but please note, they must be printed on either a laser or inkjet printer.

You will be shown various techniques and tricks to create your festive goodies. The pieces you make can be hung on your tree, around your house, they could even be added to christmas card; or any other use you may have! Literally, the world is your lobster! Polymer clay is cured in a conventional oven, so everything you make can be taken away after the workshop! Amazing!

This divine workshop will be brought to you by the one and only Jo Shand! (See gorgeous picture in the gallery). Jo is a lovely crafty bod, full of awesome dynamic creativity! Her sketchbooks are things of wonder! Jo has a Masters degree in Contemporary Applied Arts and also teaches Art and Design students at Carlisle College.

Jo will bring along examples of her ready-made polymer goodies for you to see, touch and to inspire you! You will receive constructive help and ideas throughout the workshop. All materials are included in the workshop price so just bring yourself and loads of enthusiasm and creative flair!
If you are feeling really productive, you will be able to purchase additional polymer at the workshop.
All tools and equipment will also be provided. Plus light refreshments, cake & biscuity treats to keep you fuelled! Hey, I think I may have to put a pan of mulled wine on guys! X
