Kids half-term mug-making! June 2nd, 10-12pm
Kiddywinks! What are you up up for half-term? Who’d like to make their own mug?
This will be very messy and fun! The technique is called ‘slip-casting’. We will use a liquid-clay, plaster moulds and coloured clay to make awesome mugs which you can use later after I have fired and glazed them for you!
We will use cutters, stamps and coloured clay to add decoration to our mugs, you could even stamp your name on to it?
Parents/Guardians you are more than welcome to stay with your child or if you have anything to do you can leave them with me for the session no problem.
You will receive constructive help and ideas throughout the workshop. All materials and firings are included in the workshop price so just bring yourself and loads of enthusiasm and creative flair! All tools and equipment will also be provided. Plus light refreshments, cake & biscuity treats to keep you fuelled!
